Many of our streaming TV channels and apps are free-to-view services funded by advertising. Some of these services use an Identifier For Advertising (IFA) when requesting adverts from advertising servers. We use the IFA as an anonymous identifier solely to limit the number of times individual adverts are presented. The IFA is not Personally Identifying Information and on our services it does not provide any information about viewing habits outside of the current service.
On our services that use the IFA, you may reset the IFA that has been allocated to the current device via the in-app settings. You may also disable use of the IFA via the in-app settings. Disabling the IFA stops its use on the current device and current service only.
Please note that with IFA disabled adverts will continue to be shown in breaks but the same sets of adverts are more likely to be seen multiple times across viewing sessions.
